The Top Financial ("we," "us") is an independent insurance agency based in Texas. This policy covers thetopfinancial.com, including our contact and agent-application forms and our AI chat. It explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us. Our two forms collect: your name, email, phone number (optional), age, U.S. state, what you're interested in (life insurance, annuities, or both), your main goal, and anything you write in the message field. The agent-application form also asks about your licensing status and background. Our AI chat collects whatever you choose to type in the conversation.
Please don't submit sensitive details. The free-text fields and chat are not the place for Social Security numbers, health details, or financial account numbers — a licensed agent will collect anything needed for an actual application through a secure process, and the carrier will provide its own privacy notice at that point. If you volunteer sensitive information anyway, we use it only to serve your request and never sell it.
Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) that keep the site working and secure. This site runs no third-party analytics and no advertising trackers, and our fonts are served from our own domain — no visitor data is sent to third-party services when you browse.
The chat on this site is an AI assistant — automated, not a human, and not a licensed insurance agent. Conversations are stored on our own lead platform, may be reviewed by our team, and are used to answer your questions and route your request to a licensed human agent. Chat answers are general education, can contain errors, and are not financial, legal, or tax advice — always confirm anything important with a licensed agent.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only as needed to serve your request:
We set no advertising or analytics cookies. Our chat may use first-party local storage strictly so your conversation works across pages (session state). That's it — which is why you don't see a cookie banner here.
We keep lead information as long as needed to respond to and serve your request, and then for a reasonable period consistent with our business records. Records connected to an actual insurance transaction are retained as required by insurance record-keeping rules and our agreements with the insurance carriers (generally at least seven years). When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you (replying STOP to any text also works). Email contact@thetopfinancial.com — we respond to privacy requests within 45 days.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information, including HTTPS everywhere on this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
